Poecilipta harveyi View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs 115b View FIGURE 115 , 116d, e View FIGURE 116 , 119c, d View FIGURE 119 . Map 78)
Material. Western Australia: holotype ♂, W of Minnivale , 31°07'58"S, 117°10'13"E, 21 May–16 Sep 1996, wet pitfall, M.S. Harvey, J.M. Waldock, WAM 98 About WAM GoogleMaps /1659.
Diagnosis. The male differs from those of P. carnarvon sp. nov. in the male abdominal scute being for two-thirds of the abdomen length and the subdistal embolic loop being much greater diameter (viewed axially) than basal loop, and from those of P. elvis sp. nov. by the absence of a strong distal constriction on femur IV and having the basal and subapical embolar spirals similar in size. Female unknown.
Etymology. For Dr Mark Harvey, Western Australian Museum, in small recognition for his drive to implement the short range endemic concept for invertebrates ( Harvey, 2002).
