Preoccupies Caecum carpenteri (Bartsch, 1920) [ Elephantanellum ], which was renamed Caecum adamsi Raines, 2020 . — Current status: Caecum carpenteri Deshayes, 1861 (Lozouet 2015: 18, pl.2, figs 12-13).
