Comments: Epoligosita latipennis sp. nov. is very similar to Epoligosita keralaensis Begum & Anis (2015) but can be distinguished by the head with OOL 5× as long as POL; eyes 2× the MS; eyes 0.54× as long as the height of the head. Antennae with funicle 1.33× longer than wide; pedicel 2× as long as wide; scape long, about 4.5× as long as wide. Forewings with the basal one-third infuscated, less than 4× as long as wide; marginal fringe 1.5× as long as the FWW.

In Epoligosita keralaensis , the head has OOL equal to POL; eyes more than 2× the MS; eyes 0.68× as long as the height of the head. Antennae with funicle about 2× longer than wide; pedicel more than 2× as long as wide; scape about 3× as long as wide. Forewings hyaline, 4× as long as wide; marginal fringe more than 1.5× as long as the FWW.
