( Figs. 1A–E View FIGURE 1 )
Description: Female. Length, 0.40 mm. Head with front vertex and MS pale brown except mouth region honey yellow; eye and ocelli blackish. Mandibles with tips brown. Antennal segments pale yellow except apical part of club, which is brown. Mesosoma pale yellow; metasoma brown-infuscated with a pale-brown ovipositor. Forewings broad and hyaline.
Head. ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ) 1.4× wider than long as broad as high (156: 112); eyes length 2× of MS (69: 34). Antenna ( Fig.1A View FIGURE 1 ) with club 2-segmented having short, pointed bristles, 2.7× as long as broad (78:29), apical segment long; funicle 1.33× longer than wide (20:15); pedicel slightly more than 2× as long as wide (40: 18); scape long about 3.5× as long as wide (45: 13).
Mesosoma. ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ) Mid lobe of mesoscutum about 1.45× broader than long; scutellum 2× as broad as long; pronotum sub-triangular, 9× as long as dorsellum. Forewings ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ) hyaline, 2.9× as long as broad (324: 112); marginal fringe about as long as FWW (117: 112), STV 3.8× shorter than SMV (16: 61), MV 1.2× longer than SMV (79: 61).
Metasoma: Gaster longer than mesosoma; ovipositor ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ) concealed, originating from the second gastral segment, and measuring 1.5× the length of the hind tibia (182:119).

Types examined: Holotype, 1♀ (on slide): INDIA: Haryana, Sonipat, Rohat , 06.xii.2016, M. Ikram; by sweeping ( Acc. No. NFIC-22131) . Paratype: 1♀ (on slide), same data as for holotype .
Distribution: INDIA: Haryana (Sonipat).
Etymology: The species name is derived from the Latin word brevis, meaning “short,” in reference to its short clava.
Comments: Epoligosita breviclavata sp. nov. is very similar to Epoligosita clara Hayat & Viggiani (1981) but can be distinguished by the antennae having the club about 4× as long as the funicle; funicle 1.33× as long as broad; pedicel more than 2× as long as wide. Forewings hyaline, with the marginal fringe about as long as the FWW. In Epoligosita clara , the antennae have the club about 5.5× as long as the funicle; funicle quadrate, as long as broad; pedicel slightly less than 2× as long as wide. Forewings with the basal one-third infuscated; marginal fringe 1.5× as long as the FWW.
