Material examined: New record: Albania: 1 ex. Vurg i Ri vill. env. (39°48.12233’ N, 20°4.609’ E, 60 m a.s.l.), 08.05.2016, A. Šíma leg. et coll GoogleMaps .

Notes: X. dryographus attacks mainly oaks ( Quercus spp. ) ( Pfeffer 1955). Although Schedl (1971) reported X. dryographus as a first record for Albania, this information was overlooked and is not included in the Palaearctic catalogue ( Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2023). The specimen, collected during a 1961 expedition to Albania, is preserved at the Senckenberg Deutsches Entomologisches Institut in Müncheberg, Germany ( Schedl 1971).
