Distribution. Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro ( Löbl, 2004); Ukraine ( first record).
Notes. In its habitus, this species is similar with B. curtisii by the body size, dark-brown colouring and poor disordered elytra punctation. The male scapus is strongly thickened and carries flat outgrowth on the last third of its inner side, and the pedicel has a small keel on its inner margin. The specimens from Hlushka show some
