Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: seven individuals from six sites. Caught in flight trap from 25 March – 26 August 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America, south to Central America.
Saproxylic habits.
Larvae parasitize the pupae of woodboring beetles, and adults can occur under loose bark of dead and dying hardwood and conifer trees ( Dimmock 1882; Fiske 1905).
