Neotype (Rogers in Rogers & Spencer in Taxon 55: 487. 2006): South Africa. Western Cape Province, Caledon District, Cape Hangklip, near the hotel, 50m, 1 Oct 1956, R. Dahlgren & B. Peterson 526 (MO-5033766).

Current name: Struthiola dodecandra (L.) Druce View in CoL ( Thymelaeaceae ).

Note: A superfluous name for Passerina dodecandra L. (1755) .
