Bembidium humboldtensis Blaisdell, 1902: 74. Type locality: "Humboldt County, Cal[ifornia]" (original citation). Syntype(s) [12 originally cited] in CAS [# 2658 and 2659] and MCZ [# 2010].
Bembidion chetcoens Hatch, 1953: 88. Type locality: "Myrtle Grove, Chetco R[iver] [Coos County], Ore[gon]" (original citation). Holotype (♂) in USNM. Synonymy established by Lindroth (1963b: 305).
Distribution.
As far as known, this species is confined to the west coast of southern Oregon (Hatch 1953: 88, as Bembidion chetcoens ) and northern California (Blaisdell 1902: 74; Casey 1918: 55). The record from the central Sierra Nevada (Papp 1978: 164) needs confirmation.
