Ocinebrinopsis credneri Group
Discussion. This group comprises species characterized by a fused siphonal canal, a prominent fasciole delimiting a deep pseudoumbilicus and short lirae in the outer lip. Within the Paratethyan assemblages we place Ocinebrinopsis credneri (Hoernes & Auinger, 1885) , Ocinebrina gregaria sp. nov. and Ocinebrinopsis orientalis (Friedberg, 1928) in this group, which is known so far only from the Badenian (Middle Miocene) of the Paratethys Sea.
