Distribution in Ukraine: Carpathians: Martin 1986: 365 ( Schoenobius alpherakii ). Mykolaiv reg.: Govorun 2008b: 52. First record from Kherson region.
Remarks. Figure 27 View FIGURES 27–28 shows the second collected and the first confirmed specimen from the only known locality for this species: the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve on the Kinburn Peninsula, which administratively spans Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
