Current name: Ononis View in CoL View at ENA sp. ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: The application of this name is uncertain. Devesa & López (in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 55: 251. 1997) indicated Herb. Linn. 896.6 ( LINN) as original material for O. pusilla L. , and treated O. cherleri (1763: 1007, non 1759) as homotypic with it, and hence illegitimate.
