Notes

Listed in Rasnitsyn (1964) as a hibernator, but the context of the finding is unclear. Specimens are often observed late in the year, also in houses or possibly caves ( Decou and Decou 1961). However, it has been stated how this species overwinters in the host sac ( Schwarz and Shaw 2000). In this case, it is less likely other hibernation strategies are used.
