Remarks.—Described as a species of Ibidion Audinet-Serville, 1834 (junior homonymy) from Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico, and Guatemala, this species is known from the United States ( Texas), Mexico ( Sonora, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Colima, Michoacán, Mexico, Morelos, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Jalisco, Veracruz, and Quintana Roo), Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Material examined.— BELIZE ( new country record), Stann Creek District, 1 specimen, Toucan Ridge Ecology & Education Society field station ( TREES), Middlesex, 37 km W of Dangriga , malaise trap, 20 June–1 July, 2016, L. G. Bezark collector ( LGBC) .
