Current name: Lolium temulentum L. View in CoL ( Poaceae ).

Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 209. 1975) stated "Type: …LINN”, this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by CaflFerty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000). Loos & Jarvis account for other pre-1992 typification statements.
