Assing & Wunderle (2008) revalidated this species and reported it for the first time for Portugal from BeirA AltA, S. MAnteiGAs, SerrA DA EstrelA, 40º21’N, 07º34’W, 1070 m, 19-III-2002, 1 ex., leg Meybohm (cAss); Serra da Estrela, 1 ex. (NHMW); Alto Alentejo, Serra de S. Mamede, Marvão, 39º24’N, 07º26’W, 570 m, chestnut litter sifted, 17-III-2002, 1 ex., leg. Meybohm (cAss). Gamarra & Outerelo (2018) mention the species from Beira Alta and Alto Alentejo, likely based on Assing & Wunderle (2008).
Distribution: Species present in France, Portugal and Spain (Schülke & Smetana, 2015).
