Asparagus monophyllus View in CoL has been reported only from Afghanistan and Pakistan not from Iran in Flora Iranica ( Browicz 1990). Assadi (2023) reported the species from Hormozgan province: Tang-e Ghoochan, 75 km NW of Hajiabad, 1500m, Zaeifi, Sultanpour and Bahmanzadeh 333 and between Bandar-Abbas and Hajiabad, Sarchahan village, 680m, Dinarvand & Assadpour 772.
