Lectotype (Fernald in Rhodora 37: 383. 1935): Clayton 14 (BM-000062962).

Current name: Asplenium platyneuron (L.) Britton & al. var. platyneuron View in CoL ( Aspleniaceae ).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “platyneuros” in the protologue.
