Sri Lankan records. O’Brien & Askevold (1995: 69 —Padaviya, Anuradhapura, Minneriya, Trincomalee).
Distribution. Burma, India, Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.
Biological Note. This species has been reared from Hydrilla verticillata and Najas guadelupensis . It has been taken feeding on Potamogeton and was swept from submersed Myriophyllum . Numerous adults, presumed to be overwintering, were taken from topsoil in northern Pakistan. Many specimens have also been collected at lights ( O’Brien & Askevold, 1995).
