Current status: Anthophora ( Clisodon) furcata ssp. montislinguarum Schulz, 1906 .

Remark: Brooks (1988: 489) firstly treated the taxon as Anthophora ( Clisodon) xinjiangensis (Wu, 1985) , and Wu (2000) added the holotype identification label as Anthophora ( Clisodon) xinjiangensis Wu , the type of Anthophora ( Clisodon) furcata ssp. montislinguarum Schulz, 1906 has been revised by PR in NHMB. This well coloured furcata subspecies seems to occur in a large area from Caucasus to the west, Siberia to the north and China to the east. So Anthophora ( Clisodon) xinjiangensis (Wu, 1985) is newly synonymized with Anthophora ( Clisodon) furcata ssp. montislinguarum Schulz, 1906 .

Distribution: Caucasus to the west, Siberia to the north and China to the east.
