Distribution.
Korean peninsula; Russia (southern Far East), Japan.
Remarks.
J. Papp (1987) recorded the species Colastes (Colastes) affinis ( Wesmael, 1838) in the fauna of the Korean peninsula. However, during visit to the Hungarian Natural History Museum in 2000, the first author studied and determined that the Korean specimens belong actually to the East Palaearctic C. (C.) interdictus Belokobylskij, 1998 . These corrections and new information were later published by Papp (2003: 118). Thus, the species C. (C.) affinis is here excluded from the fauna of the Korean peninsula.
