Type (lectotype, designated here):— INDONESIA. Java Island, ‘ad montem Parang Provinciae Tjanjor’ , Blume s.n. (L! [ L2348476 ]; isolectotypes L! [ L2348465 ], [ L2348501 ]; M! [ M0210269 ]).
In the protologue, only the locality is cited without specifying the collector and reference herbarium. Studying the original Blume’s collection ( Stafleu & Cowan 1976 –1988: 234) were found four duplicates of Blume s.n. in L and M associated with Columbia javanica . Therefore, following Art. 9.3 of the ICN, is designate here the specimen L2348476 as a lectotype, by choosing the best-preserved and complete specimen.
