Remarks. – This species was described from Costa Rica by Thomson based on a single specimen. Examination of the hind tibiae of the type photo taken by John Chemsak in Paris, indicates that it is a male. The two females examined from Belize have the hind tibiae scarcely bent, and slender throughout. The males have the hind tibiae distinctly bent just past the middle and thickened on the apical half. Additionally, the tuft of long setae on antennomere V in males (not visible in the type photo) is quite extensive and extends both internally and externally. In females the tuft is sparse and is only present internally on antennomere V.
