Distribution in Laos. Luang Prabang Province ( Brosch et al. 1999; Racheli et al. 2008; Kishida et al. 2020), Boli Kham Xai Province ( Racheli et al. 2008), and Phongsaly Province (this study).
Remarks. (1) The first record from Phongsaly Province. (2) Kishida et al. (2020) incorrectly identified the species from Laos as “ Cricula andrei Jordan, 1909”. The latter species is known from India, Bhutan, and Myanmar. Since COI p -distance between C. andrei and Cricula jordani Bryk, 1944 is more than 2.5% both species should be considered as valid.
