DISTRIBUTION
Only known from Namibia and Republic of South Africa.
NOTES
From the 38 species composing the genus Deroplia Dejean, 1835 sensu lato, only two, D. lateralis and D. verticalis (Thomson, 1868) , are reported from Namibia. Our collecting data perfectly fit with the occurrence period of the species in Namibia. The specimens from Kuzikus are notably larger (17 mm) than previously reported size for this species (12 mm).
