Caespitose perennial up to c. 10 cm, with slender, branched, woody stems. Basal leaves c. 10 mm, setaceous, i-terete; cauline 6-10 pairs, longer than internodes. Flowers solitary. Epicalyxscales (4—)6, c. i as long as calyx, ovate, aristate. Calyx 15- 18 mm, narrowed from about the middle. Petal-limb c. 5 mm, dentate, bearded, pink. 2« = 30. • Lower Danube valley and Dobruja. Bu?Ju Rm.
