Iconography — Vega and Rúgolo de Agrasar (2012: 293).

Geographical Distribution and Ecology — Caribbean, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina. Inhabits dry, sandy or disturbed lands, also in xeric forests from sea level to 3,400 m.
