Diagnosis. This species closely resembles D. longilobus Yu in external appearance, but can be easily distinguished from the latter by the penis capsule with outer arm indistinct and penis guide distinctly longer than parameres in lateral view. In D. longilobus Yu , the penis capsule with outer arm distinct and slightly broaden and penis guide shorter than parameres.
Description. TL 1.3–1.4 mm, TW 0.8–0.9 mm, TH 0.5–0.6 mm, TL/TW 1.55–1.60, PL/PW 0.5, EL/EW 1, HW/PW 0.4, PW/EW 0.72.
Body elongate oval, moderately convex, dorsum with white pubescence ( Figs 1a–f). Head, antennae and mouthparts yellowish brown, apex of head dark brown. Eyes densely faceted, interocular distance 0.9 times head width. Pronotum dark brown, lateral margins yellowish brown ( Figs 1a–b). Elytra yellowish brown with acute, triangular, dark brown sutural spot extending to about 2/3 elytral length ( Fig. 1a). Prothoracic hypomeron yellowish brown. Prosternum pitchy brown. Metaventrite black. Legs yellowish brown.
Male genitalia. Penis moderately stout ( Fig. 1h). Apex of penis simple without any appendage ( Fig. 1h). Tegmen with penis guide widest at base, gradually converging to a pointed apex ( Figs 1i–j), distinctly longer than parameres in lateral view ( Fig. 1i); parameres nearly ellipsoidal, with dense long apical setae.

Distribution. China (Beijing, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Hainan, Sichuan, Yunnan); Vietnam.
Remarks. This species has variable coloration. In some case, head, pronotum is pale yellow and elytra are pale yellow with acute, triangular, yellowish brown sutural spot extending to about 2/3 elytral length. The lectotype of this species is deposited in the collection of the Hokkaido University Museum, Sapporo, Japan.
