Tribe Dithrycini View in CoL View at ENA
Tribe Dithrycini View in CoL is represented in India by three described genera: Malaisinia Hering View in CoL , Platensina Enderlein View in CoL and Oedaspis Loew View in CoL , all included in subtribe Platensinina View in CoL by Hancock (2001), with ten described species ( Agarwal and Sueyoshi 2005; David et al. 2022a; Maneesh et al. 2023; Singh et al. 2025). Platensina View in CoL accounts for seven species and the other two genera with one and two species respectively (Maneesh et al. 2 023; Singh et al. 2025). The tribe is mostly associated with Asteraceae View in CoL and forms stem galls, with one species, Oedaspis nauniensis Maneesh & Hancock View in CoL , recently recorded from subterranean galls on Artemisia sp. ( Maneesh et al. 2023). Two new species in Malaisinia View in CoL and Platensina View in CoL are described here.
