Notes — In his unpublished PhD thesis, Mwachala (2005) selected a neotype for D. acutissima . However, in the proto- logue Hua wrote: “Région de l’Alima (Thollon, n° 913), terrains sableux, sous-bois, fl. mars 1888 ”. Material of Thollon 913 is available in several herbaria and hence the selection of a neotype is superfluous. The specimen P00442404 was chosen as the lectotype from among the three sheets available at P, since that is the only sheet carrying a label with the details mentioned in the protologue .
