Subgenus: Elachista View in CoL ; tetragonella View in CoL species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Japan.
Larval host plant(s): Carex kobomugi Ohwi , C. macrocephala Willd. , C. pumila Thunb. , C. microtricha Franch. (Cyperaceae) ( Sugisima 1999).
