COMMON NAME(S): Eggar, Snout moth (although this also refers to the Pyralidae View in CoL ) or Lappet moth.

SYNONYM(S): Pachymeta horridula Tams, 1925b .

IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).

DISTRIBUTION: Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka, in Lusaka Province; Kashitu in Central Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Unknown.
