Diagnosis
Body shining, elongated, almost parallel-sided ( Fig. 11), its length 5.5-6.2 mm; head strongly narrowed anteriorly ( Fig. 12), its dorsal surface impunctate or almost impunctate, except for setigerous punctures; clypeus without subapical setigerous punctures; each paraclypeus with two primary setigerous punctures bearing long hair-like setae and one (sporadically two) submarginal short hair-like seta ( Fig. I 2); eyes small, ocular index about 3.6-4.4; pronotum weakly punctured, anterior half of a disc almost impunctate, the posterior with a broad band of scattered punctures, pronotal margins with a row of 5-7 submarginal setigerous punctures bearing long hair-like setae; scutellum punctured with punctures larger than those on pronotum and corium, puncturation of scutellar disc sparser than that of corium; costal margin with a single setigerous puncture bearing hair-like seta; propleuron almost impunctate, except for a medial row of coarse punctures in propleural depression; mesopleural evaporatorium with more or less visible polished wedge-shaped band posteriorly ( Fig. 13); paramere as in Fig. 14.
