Brown (1996) reported this species from the northern coast of Honduras (south of Tela); the specimen was collected in late May. The immature stages and hosts are unknown.

Specimen examined: Honduras: Dept. Yoro, 45 km S Tela, 800 m, 25–27 May 1978 (1♂), E. Giesbert ( LACM) .
