Material: A single incomplete specimen (Ge 33500) with recrystallised shell.

Descriptions: Planispiral and involute, immature specimen. For a detailed description and discussion of the specimen, see Rakús (1987; p. 14).

Occurrence: It ranges from the Upper Sinemurian to the basal Toarcian (Dommergues & Meister, 2017). Juraphyllites libertus occurs in the Western Tethys (e.g. Lukeneder & Lukeneder 2018), in the southern part of the Euroboreal Domain (Joly, 2000), Crimea ( Zaitsev & Ippolitov, 2023), Pontides (Alkaya & Meister, 1995) and Caucasus ( Topchishvili et al., 2006).
