Notes. The type locality San Esteban it is not within Mexico, it actually is in Venezuela (vs. comments in Reichardt, 1971a). From December 26, 1887 to April 7, 1888, E. Simon (collector of type material) was in Venezuela conducting research in La Guaira, Maiquetía, Caracas, Colonia Tovar, the El Corozal farm in the northern part of Ávila, Puerto Cabello, San Esteban and the banks of the Lake of Valencia , which resulted in 36 published works, of which 27 refer to insects ( Annales de la Société entomologique de France, Paris, 1889 and 1891).
