Type genus: Kodaiana Distant, 1916 .
Diagnosis. Postclypeus large, flat, with deep median groove. Fore wings wide, narrowing apically, with narrow marginal membrane and without hypocostal plate; clavus as long as half of wing. Forewing vein branching sequence: R 2, furcating near to basal cell; M 2, furcating shortly after R; CuA 2, furcating before claval apex; rich reticulate transverse venation. Hind wings nearly as long as fore wings, elongate, unilobed, without cubital and vannal clefts, with anal lobe reduced; venation simple, without vein furcation. Female anal tube long and narrow. Gonoplacs short, rectangular-shaped, without carinae.
Composition and distribution. Only the type genus known from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka States in southern India .
