Type material of Larinia duchengcaii (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. no. Li2010-1), CHINA: Hainan Island, Lingshui , 9–13.VIII.2010, leg. A. T. Barrion & S.C. Villareal.

Description and diagnosis. See Yin et al. (1990) for a description and diagnosis of both sexes.

Distribution. China ( Hainan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Yunnan).

Comments. The type material of L. duchengcaii was examined and no clear differences could be distinguished when compared with the females of L. triprovina , so we consider L. duchengcaii syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of L. triprovina .
