Material examined. 1 male (Siargao18_23), Barangay Katipunan , Del Carmen , N9.87639, E126.00899, 21.2± 6.4 m, 8 April 2018, attracted to light.

The abdominal apices of Liotrachela lobata Karny, 1926 , particularly subspecies producta described from Siargao, and L. iliganae Hebard, 1922 described from Mindanao are very similar. Karny (1926) noted that the status of the species may not hold. Conspecific variations need to be examined to resolve this.
