Lycianthes tomentella

Rusby (1926) described Lycianthes tomentella View in CoL as a new species based on specimens of the M. Bang 630 collection, deposited at the NY Herbarium. The analysis of the NY material revealed that were two specimens of M. Bang 630; we chose the specimen with NY barcode 138718 as the lectotype, as it was more complete with flowers and fruits.
