General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.
Distribution in the DR. So far, only known from Monte Cristi and Puerto Plata ( Fig 1. B View FIGURE 1 ).
Habitat. A species of the semi-desert zone, at best sparsely wooded and strongly xeric environments in the north of the island ( Monte Cristi).
Host plants. Larval stages and host plants unknown.
Material examined.
