General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.

Distribution in the DR. Cordillera Septentrional, Cordillera Central and Bahoruco Mountains ( Fig 1. A View FIGURE 1 ).

Habitat. Elevation 100–1800 m asl. A species of medium to high elevations in forest environments. The insect is more common in deep forests, in the most preserved primary biotopes ( Fig 9. E, F, G View FIGURE 9 ).

Host plants. Unknown.
