Stem up to 40 cm, branched. Leaves 2-5 mm wide, linear to linear-lanceolate, entire. Spike cylindrical; bracts green, ovate-lanceolate, laciniate, with lanceolate, acuminate, strongly cibate segments. Calyx c. 8 mm; tube glabrous except for strigulose veins; teeth 4-5 mm, setaceous, cibate. Corolla 20-25 mm, yellow, sometimes tinged with purple, the lower bp spotted with orange; lower bp with upturned margins; throat closed. Evergreen scrub. • E.C. Greece (Olimbos). Gr.
