Type-locality. Chile; Peru, Cuzco; Bolivia, Sorata.

Lectotype. 1♂ ( MTD).

Distribution. Bolivia, Peru. Chile: Región de Arica y Parinacota: Arica Province (Caritaya, Palca). Región de Coquimbo: Elqui Province ( 50 km S La Serena). Región Metropolitana: Santiago Province ( Santiago ).

Comments. As detailed by Rohlfien & Ewald (1970) and Brake (2024), the specimens from Cuzco or Cusco were collected at Sicuani, Urubamba River, and “Laristhel” the last locality name a misspelling for Lares Valley.”
