Host plants/gall: Salvia spp. ( S. nemorosa L., S. officinalis L.) ( Lamiaceae )—gall in flower head (ovary).

Distribution in Dobrogea: the forests—Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Hagieni Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ, Neptun (Comorova forest), villages—Comana, Esechioi, CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded), Dobrogea ( Ionescu, 1973).
