Remarks: A species distributed throughout Canaries and Madeira archipelagos and also found in the West Mediterranean Region. In Desertas, the Olisthopus species are usually found beneath stones, inside rock crevices or even on saxicolous lichens that cover the rocks. It is common to find two Olisthopus species together in the same habitat.
