Sect. Hymenobrychis DC. Usually perennial; racemes many- flowered; standard pubescent on back; ovary usually curved; margin of the legume with 2 rows of teeth, rarely unarmed.
A large section, centred in Asia and N. Africa, with a few marginal European representatives.
