Description. Female (n = 6): Body fusiform, 180 (150–210), 70 (65–75) wide, 60 (55–65) thick; light yellow.
Gnathosoma. 18 (17–19) long, projecting downwards, cheliceral stylets 11 (11–17), pedipalp coxal setae ep 4*, dorsal pedipalp genual setae d 3 (2–3).
Prodorsal shield. 35 (35–37) long, 40 (40–44) wide, lateral margin with dense microtubercles; frontal lobe present; median line incomplete, not reach the frontal lobe margin, admedian lines continues, median and admedian lines connected by three transverse lines, forming 6 cells in central region and admedian lines form one cell in the frontal lobe region; one pair of lateral lines extended toward and connected to admedian lines, two transverse line extended from lateral lines toward shield laterals. Scapular tubercles 20 (19–24) apart, scapular setae sc 21 (17–23), projecting centrad and posterior. Legs. Leg I 21 (21–25), femur 8 (8–10), basiventral femoral setae bv absent; genu 3*, antaxial genual setae l’’ 21 (17–28); tibia 2*, paraxial tibial setae l’ absent; tarsus 5 (5–6), paraxial fastigial tarsal setae ft’ 11 (10–13), antaxial fastigial tarsal setae ft’’ 15 (14–17); seta u’ 3*, tarsal empodium em 5 long and 4-rayed, tarsal solenidion ω 5 (4–6), unknobbed. Leg ІІ 23 (20–24), femur 8 (7–9), basiventral femoral setae bv 8 (7–9); genu 3*, l’’ 10 (9–11); tibia 2*; tarsus 5 (5–6), setae ft’ 4 (4–5), setae ft’’ 18 (18–19); seta u’ 3*, tarsal empodium em 5 and 4-rayed, tarsal solenidion ω 8 (7–9), unknobbed.
Opisthosoma. Opisthosoma dorsally with 59 (49–61) semiannuli, with 6 slight ridges ornamented with triangular microtubercles; ventrally with 65 (59–69) linear microtuberculated semiannuli. Setae c2 15 (13–18) on ventral semiannulus 9 (9–10), 50 (50–60) apart; setae d 45 (41–55) on ventral semiannulus 19 (19–23), 40 (40–41) apart; setae e 10 (7–11), on ventral semiannulus 37 (34–39), 22 (20–23) apart; setae f 15 (15–18), on 6th ventral semiannulus from rear, 16 (15–19) apart; setae h1 1 (1–2), setae h2 58 (54–63). Coxal area with many granules, prosternal apodeme absent; coxisternal setae 1b 3 (3–4) and 7 (7–8) apart, 1a 12 (12–13) and 12 (12–13) apart, 2a 31 (25–35) and 25 (23–27) apart; coxigenital region smooth, without semiannuli between coxae and external genitalia.
External genitalia. 12 (12–13) long, 20 (20–23) wide, coverflap with granules on basal part and transverse lines on the posterior margin, setae 3a 7 (6–8), 15 (12–15) apart.
Internal genitalia. Spermathecae ovoid, oriented laterad; spermathecal tubes normal, relatively short; transverse genital apodeme trapezoidal, distally folded.
Male (n = 1): Body fusiform, 140 long, 55 wide, 45 thick; light yellow. Gnathosoma. 11 long, projecting downwards, cheliceral stylets 9, pedipalp coxal setae ep 3, dorsal pedipalp genual setae d 2.
Prodorsal shield. 28 long, 35 wide, lateral margin with dense microtubercles; frontal lobe present. Scapular tubercles 15 apart, scapular setae sc 12, projecting centrad and posterior.
Legs. Leg I 17, femur 7, basiventral femoral setae bv absent; genu 3, antaxial genual setae l’’ 16; tibia 2, paraxial tibial setae l’ absent; tarsus 5, paraxial fastigial tarsal setae ft’ 7, antaxial fastigial tarsal setae ft’’ 14; seta u’ 3, tarsal empodium em 4 long and 4-rayed, tarsal solenidion ω 4, unknobbed. Leg ІІ 17, femur 7, basiventral femoral setae bv 6; genu 3, l’’ 6; tibia 2; tarsus 5, setae ft’ 3, setae ft’’ 14; seta u’ 3, tarsal empodium em 4 and 4-rayed, tarsal solenidion ω 4, unknobbed.
Opisthosoma. Opisthosoma dorsally with 50 annuli, with 6 slight ridges and 6 rows of longitudinal triangular microtubercles; ventrally with 61 linear microtuberculated semiannuli. Setae c2 10 on ventral annulus 9, 40 apart; setae d 40 on ventral annulus 19, 34 apart; setae e 8, on ventral semiannulus 34, 14 apart; setae f 15, on 6th ventral semiannulus from rear, 10 apart; setae h1 1, setae h2 44. Coxal area with many granules, prosternal apodeme absent; coxisternum setae 1b 3 and 5 apart, 1a 12 and 10 apart, 2a 22 and 19 apart; coxigenital region smooth, without semiannuli between coxae and external genitalia.
Male genitalia. 15 wide, 10 long, setae 3a 6 long.
Material examined. Holotype. female (slide number NJAUAQ351.1 ; marked Holotype), China: Hainan province, Changjiang County, Hainan Bawangling National Nature Reserve , 19°07′00′′N, 109°04′49′′E, elevation 140 m. May 31, 2019, from Combretum alfredi Hance ( Combretaceae ), coll. Xue, Xiao-Feng GoogleMaps . Paratypes. five females and one male on six slides (slide number NJAUAQ351.2–5 ; marked Paratypes), with the same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Relation to the plant host. Vagrant on lower leaf surface. No damage to the host plant was observed.
Etymology. The specific designation combretinus is from the host generic name “ Combretum ”, masculine in gender.
