Distribution in India. Arunachal Pradesh (Singh et al. 2021), Assam, Nagaland (Sondhi et al. 2025). Global records. Vietnam ( Candèze 1927, Joannis 1929), Myanmar ( Orhant 2000), China ( Yunnan, Guangxi), Laos, northern Thailand ( Kishida & Nonaka 2020).
Remarks. Two subspecies are recognized: ssp pseudorepanda Hering, 1933 is distributed only in China ( Henan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Jiangixi, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan); ssp. kalawensis Orhant, 2000 is widely distributed in Myanmar to N. Thailand and China ( Yunnan, Guangxi, Hainan and Xizang).
