Lectotype (Bhopal & Chaudhri in Pakistan Syst. 1(2): 76. 1977; Ekman & Knutsson in Nordic J. Bot. 14: 23. 1994): Gmelin s.n., Herb. Linn. No. 510.7, left specimen ( LINN) .

Current name: Persicaria amphibia (L.) Gray ( Polygonaceae ).

Note: Bhopal & Chaudhri first designated 510.7 (LINN) as type but this choice was subsequently restricted to the specimen on the left by Ekman & Knutsson.
